I have been reading for as long as I can remember. It's actually one of
the first activities I remember doing. Of course, I only read comic
books until I was 12. My mother decided to bribe me into reading The
Flame and the Flower by Kathleen Woodiwiss. How could I resist the
offer of any comic I wanted just for reading?!
I couldn't.
I was hooked!
I read voraciously. Constantly. I'm always looking for new authors, new books, old books, comic books (yes! Elfquest is the best!) and craft books.
The first "book" (Term used loosely!) I ever wrote was in the 10th grade. I labored for ages over 36 handwritten pages - front and back, mind you, on college ruled paper. It was the desperate story of one girl's unrequited love for that super-unattainable boy. Even then it was all about the romance. I still have it. I still cringe when I read it.
I like to think I've gotten much, much better.
I hope that you enjoy my stories and that you'll come along with me on this Rollercoaster of Love (to borrow a song title).
